The World Championship of Ping Pong returns to Alexandra Palace, London, January 26-27, 2019.
The game that fell out of favour with the advent of super-spin inducing rubber bats years ago is returning to the mainstream thanks to a potent mixture of speed, power and old-fashioned skill courtesy of the technology-free sandpaper bats.
Now into its seventh year at the iconic Alexandra Palace, London, the World Championship is a throwback to the early days of table tennis and is catapulting ping pong into the big league and onto the international television stage.
At the present time there is one UK Qualification event on Sunday 28th October 2019 at Ellenbororugh Table Tennis Club, Enfield with a closing date of 19th October 2018 and the entry form can be downloaded from here
